FORUM & CHAT BOX RULES ARE THE SAME ~ MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITY

This is a family friendly forum, and we intend to keep it that way.
ICU discussion forum moderators will decide what is an appropriate post for this forum and what is not and will delete or edit posts as necessary.
No Hacking - This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone else's password and succeeding counts as hacking.
No Discrimination - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or whether they are bisexual or straight. This is worse than flaming, because it also hurts other members of the board who fall into the category you insulted. ICU discussion forum is a place where everyone is equal, and discrimination will not be tolerated!
Usernames, Avatars or Signatures containing anything obscene, vulgar or sexually explicit or of a sexual nature or anything else deemed, profanity or inappropriate for a family forum will not be tolerated.
No Bullying - Do not pick on other members the worst kind of bullying is where new members are picked on, this hurts the member as well as the board.
No Flaming - Flaming harms the nice atmosphere of the ICU discussion forum, it also causes threads to go off topic and most importantly it hurts the person being flamed. The victim may defend themselves against any accusations made to them but may not make any additional accusations to the flamer (which also counts as flaming).
No Profanity or Obscene Content - Such content does not belong on the ICU discussion forum. If you have done something wrong, please edit your post and tone it down before re-posting. To edit a post, click the "Edit" button at the top right side of the post.
No Advertising - At any time in the Chat Box or putting contact information like Phone number in the Chat Box, you will be given a warning or can be banned from the forum.
No Advertising - You are not permitted to make money using the ICU discussion forum. You are not allowed to PM or use the member list to obtain Instant Messaging screen name to harass people to purchase a product from you all sale items must be advertised only on the add forum that's okay.
No Advertising - In Usernames, Avatars or Signatures is not allowed, no forum name, forum links/addresses or logos. Only forum SPONSORS are allowed to do this.
No commercial listings will be allowed- If you are repeatedly trading or selling new equipment, have multiples of the same new items, a revolving thread where the list of items is constantly changing, or being able to "get anything" a poster may ask for is a sure-fire way to have your post removed as "commercial" and possibly banned from the site.
Personal Information - Members are requested not to post addresses or phone numbers on the open forum, this is to protect you as the posts are viewable by all. Please keep this information to private message only or it will be removed.
Amendment 1 - There are no excuses for breaking the rules. It doesn't matter if you were angry at the time and weren't thinking straight. It doesn't matter if you were only kidding around. If you break a rule, it does the same damage, regardless of your reasons for breaking it and you will be punished all the same.
Amendment 2 - Site administration and moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any post that go against forum rules.
Amendment 3 - Harassing the administration about punishments is not allowed, the admin and moderators are only trying to do their job, and many times they have to make difficult decisions. You may post your opinion in the thread that announces the punishment, so long as you do not flame anyone. If this thread gets out of hand it will be closed and you may not complain elsewhere on the board, or by other means. Including but not limited to private messages, instant messaging programs, email, telephone calls. You also may not make threats against administrators or staff or other members for that matter.
No political discussions or advertisements are not permitted on this forum at any time and religious discussions are also not allowed.
